Humphrey is our Firm Team Leader at the firm on one hand and chief of planning and strategy officer. In his dealings with daily firm operations, Humphrey, works on clients corporate affairs and related matters.
He with other founders took active part in strategic engineering for the firm during its establishment in 2021.Apart from being a lawyer, Humphrey has broad multi professional practical experiences which add value to his services at the firm.Humphrey has background of academic and service experience from well-founded religious institutions where he was raised and partly served.
He has more than six years of practical experience in business consultancy and development programs. Under this, Humphrey has worked in business strategic engineering working including business set up (pre and post investment support), change management and credit recovery.
He has worked diversely with various development organizations in development projects including the Opportunity for Youths Employment (OYE), the Netherlands Development Organization (SNV) project. In 2018 he took part in development of the funding proposal for Kolandoto Hospital Eye Department’s project to facilitate eye checkup and treatment in the selected areas of Lake Zone in Tanzania.
Humphrey has experience in setting up and working with professional entities. Between 2018 and 2019 he took part in engineering the establishment of the Saut (St. Augustine University of Tanzania) Centre for Natural resources, the center established under the School of Law where he also worked as the Executive Secretary.
He also worked as the director for TUKUWE Business and Entrepreneurship Centre under Wesley College. Humphrey is also the founder and Director for We Care Tanzania, the NGO based in Tanzania with vision to inclusively address true developmental issues in Tanzania and East Africa in order to promote quality and sustainable development in the region. Humphrey believes in integration of legal profession with other professions in order to make legal profession more vibrant and of relevant impact to the sectors it operates. He also believes that lawyers should have added value in their practicing so that they can appropriately handle issues of their clients.
